Role: SAP S/4HANA Finance Expert
Duration: 6 Months (Extension Possible)
Location: Springfield, IL (Onsite Mon–Thu)
Expenses: Onsite-related costs will be covered by the client

Key Requirements:

SAP Expertise

• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and simplification items
• Experience with migration approaches: Brownfield, Greenfield, Selective Transition
• Familiarity with SAP Readiness Check and related assessment tools
• Deep understanding of ECC modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, HCM, FM/GM)
• Knowledge of S/4HANA features (Universal Journal, Business Partner, Asset Accounting, MRP Live)

Technical Skills

• Analyze ECC landscape including custom code, interfaces, and enhancements
• Experience with SAP integrations (PI/PO, BTP, APIs)
• Understanding of data migration and system performance considerations

Process & Functional Skills

• Conduct process assessments and identify gaps vs. S/4HANA best practices
• Facilitate workshops and gather business requirements
• Identify improvement opportunities and transformation areas
• Exposure to public sector processes is preferred

Advisory & Consulting

• Perform impact assessments and provide actionable insights
• Support future-state design and roadmap planning
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
• Experience working in transformation or consulting environments
