Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, equipment specifications, and hazardous area classifications for complex industrial facilities
• Evaluate system requirements and develop appropriate electrical designs and solutions
• Perform engineering calculations and system evaluations for industrial applications
• Ensure construction, installation, and testing activities meet specifications, codes, and customer requirements
• Communicate effectively with project teams and clients
• Utilize engineering software and tools to support design and execution
• Conduct detailed reviews of project deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and best engineering practices

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications and construction documents for bidding and execution
• Act as a Senior Electrical discipline lead on projects
• Participate in project proposals and provide technical solutions to client challenges

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for building systems
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Experience performing power system studies (short circuit, load flow, coordination, arc flash)
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, SmartPlant, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Life Sciences or advanced manufacturing facility design
• Familiarity with Revit or BIM tools
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
• Eagerness to learn and contribute innovative ideas
