Role: SAP BTP Lead / Architect

Role Description:

The BTP Lead will play a critical role in driving implementation, migration, and support initiatives for SAP BTP projects. The role involves architecting and delivering scalable, high-quality integration solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and lead successful implementations of SAP Integration Suite and Clean Core strategies
• Gather requirements and define integration strategies and solution designs
• Collaborate with delivery teams to align technical solutions with business goals
• Mentor and guide junior BTP team members
• Build reusable assets and accelerators on SAP BTP
• Drive innovation aligned with organizational strategy

Qualifications & Experience:

• 15+ years of SAP PI/PO experience with at least 5+ years in SAP Cloud Integration (CI)
• Minimum 5 end-to-end BTP implementation/migration project experience
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite components (API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, Trading Partner Management, Integration Advisor, Edge Integration Cell, RPA)
• Experience in A2A, B2B, and B2G integrations
• Expertise in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems (cloud & on-premise)
• Experience in migration from legacy middleware/Neo to BTP (Cloud Foundry)

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP CI (iFlows, adapters, monitoring, error handling)
• Experience with Groovy/Java scripting and XSLT
• Knowledge of IDOC, SFTP, SOAP, REST, OData, HTTP, JDBC, FTP, SuccessFactors adapters
• Experience with EDI integrations
• Understanding of BTP Administration, RAP/CAP, Fiori/UI5, and Cloud ALM
• Exposure to middleware tools like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, CPI-DS (preferred)
• Knowledge of Clean Core strategy and S/4HANA extension migration

Process Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP processes (MM, PP, SD, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Industry expertise in Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemical, or Life Sciences preferred
