SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Consultant
Position Details
Role: SAP GTS Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze global trade, customs, and export/import compliance requirements and translate them into SAP GTS solutions
- Design and configure SAP GTS functionalities including:
- Sanctioned-party screening
- Customs management
- Product classification
- Trade preference and export control
- Integrate SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA (SD/MM) and Finance modules
- Maintain master data (HS/HTS, ECCN, country of origin, licenses)
- Support audits and compliance aligned with GxP, SOX, FDA/EMA regulations
- Collaborate with compliance, regulatory, and supply chain teams
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP GTS (core modules)
- Knowledge of global trade compliance (export control, customs, denied-party screening, Incoterms)
- Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP S/4HANA / ECC
- Strong understanding of logistics (SD/MM) and supply chain processes
- Experience with compliance frameworks and audit support
Preferred
- Experience in life sciences / medical devices industry
- Familiarity with FDA, EMA, and GxP compliance
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
