Job Description:
Overview
Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage and oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for on-site execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities and manage subcontractors
Ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress
Enforce safety protocols and conduct site inspections
Maintain project documentation (RFIs, change orders, reports, etc.)
Requirements
10+ years of experience in commercial construction
Experience with federal/government projects
Knowledge of ICD 705 standards (preferred)
Strong leadership and site management skills
U.S. Citizenship required
Willingness to travel as needed (mostly local projects)
Must be based locally in the DC metro area
Additional Info
Per diem offered for projects outside the local area
Mileage reimbursement for travel beyond 60 miles

ICD 705 / secure facility (SCIF/SAPF) exposure is highly preferred and will stand out

Candidates should be hands-on Superintendents, not purely Project Managers
