Job Description:
Responsibilities
Creating and managing detailed HVAC BIM/VDC models and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Coordinating with Engineers, Designers, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution
Reviewing and resolving clashes in coordination with other trades
Generating shop drawings, spool drawings, and as-builts for field installation
Ensuring compliance with design standards, tolerances, and specifications
Assisting in training and mentoring junior designers/drafters
Providing technical support to field teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Qualifications
Autodesk/Revit accreditation or completion of an accredited CAD/BIM program
1-3 years of experience in HVAC BIM/VDC coordination
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings across multiple disciplines
Knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal, piping layouts
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team setting
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Attention to detail and accuracy a must!
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of Employees and external contacts (General Contractors)
Ability to share knowledge
