General Summary:

 

 

The Project Manager will develop and drive theprogram vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plan while partnering closelywith cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and technology leadershipto translate business goals into clear project objectives and actionable plans.This role serves as the central point of coordination for all programactivities—including planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, resourcealignment, and communication—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget,and aligned to the broader organizational transformation strategy.

 

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership,exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record managing complextechnology modernization efforts. They will play a critical role in guidingteams, resolving escalations, maintaining alignment across interdependentworkstreams, and enforcing quality, architectural, and delivery standards toachieve successful business outcomes.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Direct and lead the delivery of highly complex IT applications and systems, which includes leadership of multiple dependent projects across multiple functional areas and technology platforms.
  • Be responsible for all program oversight, including planning, directing, and managing cross-functional team members.
  • Partner with IT Business Integration & Strategy to lead meetings with executive business partners and technology leadership to understand business goals and solution needs, including participation in business requirements definition.
  • Develop program-level vision, strategy, approach, and implementation plans required to achieve necessary business outcomes.
  • Be responsible for developing detailed project charters and plans.
    • Specifying goals, objectives, strategy, scope, scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, work breakdown structures, use cases, test cases, and training needs, as necessary for all project assignments.
  • Identify, track, and manage program-level risks and issues.
    • Sr. Director, Portfolio, Planning, & Strategy will serve as the escalation point to resolve program issues, remove roadblocks, formulate contingency plans, and communicate status to the program's executive leadership team. Ensure the sequencing of projects is appropriate at the program level.
  • Function as the central point of program communication and status for program team members, stakeholders, management, and executives.
  • Ensure technical disciplines such as process improvement, data analysis, architectural review, quality assurance, and facilitation.
  • Ensure each project within the program is completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify the key project interdependencies across the program that may impact IT and other functional areas.
  • Be accountable for adherence to established delivery standards and industry best practices to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with overall program goals.

 

 

Work Experience &/or Education:  

 

  • 7+ years of experience in IT project or program management leading large?scale, cross?functional technology initiatives.
  • Direct experience managing Oracle ERP implementations, migrations, or modernization programs (Oracle Cloud, Oracle E?Business Suite, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise business processes such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or HR as they relate to ERP systems.
  • Proven success delivering complex, multi?workstream projects involving systems integration, data conversion, and organizational change management.
  • Experience partnering with technical and business leadership to define requirements, develop project plans, and drive delivery.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross?functional teams and resolve escalations in high?visibility programs.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
  • PMP, Agile, or related project management certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
