Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Project Manager / Estimator based in East Moline, Illinois. The role is responsible for managing masonry and construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing accurate cost estimates and project budgets
Managing project schedules and timelines
Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
Overseeing on-site execution while maintaining quality and safety standards
Balancing office-based estimating and planning work with field supervision
Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
Qualifications
Proven experience in project management and cost estimation within the construction or masonry industry
Strong understanding of construction practices, materials, and safety regulations related to masonry work
Demonstrated ability in budget preparation, cost control, and estimate review
Effective communication skills for client coordination and vendor negotiations
Proficiency with project management and estimating software
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
Hands-on experience with masonry project planning, cost tracking, and property maintenance is a plus
