We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior AI Engineer or Lead AI Engineer or AI Architect to join our team in Cincinnati, OH, for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a blend of hands-on development expertise and architectural experience, with a focus on building agentic AI platforms using cutting-edge GenAI technologies.

Position Details:

Work Authorization: All accepted except OPT (including OPT EAD)

C2C: Yes

Location: Cincinnati, OH (local candidates preferred or those relocating locally)

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite preferred)

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Start Date: ASAP (interviews begin next week)

Working Hours: EST | 9 AM – 5 PM

Role Overview: This is not a traditional enterprise architect role. We are looking for a next-generation AI Architect who is actively working on AI projects today. The role involves a 50/50 split between hands-on development and architecture, focusing on agentic AI platform innovation.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: 5–8 years in relevant roles (actively working on AI projects is essential)

Technical Skills:

Hands-on software development

Cloud architecture expertise (Azure/GCP)

Experience with GenAI, agentic systems, and workflows

Proficiency with tools/frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, MCP servers, and Agent SDKs

Strong background in cloud and distributed systems, including Kubernetes, CI/CD, APIs, and containerized platforms

Proven ability to build PoCs, prototypes, and production-ready AI solutions

Soft Skills:

Senior-level leadership mindset

Excellent stakeholder communication

Ability to lead technical direction and drive end-to-end solutions
