Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly technical, self-driven Senior Data Analyst to support analytics in a credit risk environment. This role requires someone who can operate independently, own complex data workflows, and deliver outcomes without hand-holding.
Required:
Advanced SQL (Expert Level)
Design and optimize complex queries processing millions of records
Strong performance tuning and query optimization skills
· Python / Databricks / PySpark
Build and maintain data processing scripts
Strong judgment on Spark vs. Pandas usage
· Tableau
Independently build and maintain dashboards (no training expected)
· Credit Risk Experience
Experience with credit or lending data
Knowledge of risk concepts such as PD, LGD, EAD, delinquency, defaults, and portfolio risk
· Self-Starter
Takes full ownership of work
Proactively identifies risks, data issues, and performance bottlenecks
Job description:
· Independently develop and optimize SQL queries at scale
· Maintain Python-based data pipelines in Databricks
· Build Tableau dashboards for credit risk and portfolio insights
· Support and enhance existing data workflows
· Proactively communicate risks, blockers, and data quality issues
