Role Overview:

The SAP S/4 HANA Solution Architect will be responsible for designing,implementing, and governing solutions across SAP landscapes, ensuring seamlessconnectivity between SAP systems and external applications. This role requiresdeep expertise in SAP S/4 technologies, including their integration platformSAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), data platform Business Data Cloud andlegacy HANA BW and the ability to understand end to end solution architecturethat would align with SAP business processes and Clean Core principles and thenhelp enforce standards, patterns, and best practices for implementation thatminimize customizations and maximize operational resiliency.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design:
Develop and maintain end to end solution architecture for SAP S/4 and anysupporting non-SAP systems.
Define based on knowledge of SAP S/4 processes the SAP data access andintegration capabilities available to deliver core business functional andnon-functional requirements.
Define, present, and govern SAP standards and best practices forenterprise-wide adoption.
Ensure scalability, security, observability and performance in all solutionarchitecture designs.

Solution Delivery:
Lead the design and implementation of the end-to-end solution aligned with abusiness process that is primary to SAP S/4 using SAP BTP and SAP BDC and therelated services (Integration Suite, Event Mesh, DataSphere, Databricks etc.)
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-endsolutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance during project execution.

Governance & Standards:
Establish and maintain SAP and related integration and data governanceframeworks.
Document, present for review and approval, and socialize standards and reusablepatterns.
Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with architectural principles.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with SAP application, integration and data platform technologiesand trends.
Recommend improvements to existing landscapes.
Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.


Required Qualifications:


Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP technologies, including core modules andintegration.
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Utilities (IS-U)
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite
Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS technologies

Technical Skills:
Experience solutioning in the S4 HANA Utilities business processes (at least 2of the main process streams (FICA, Billing, Meter and Device Management, etc.)
Expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, andrelated BTP services.
Strong understanding of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC).
Familiarity with hybrid integration scenarios (on-premise and cloud).
Experience in AWS integration and data movement technologies

Architectural Competencies:
Ability to define and enforce standards, patterns, and best practices forend-to-end architecture solutions
Strong knowledge of security, authentication, and authorization within the SAParchitecture and across integration and data sharing landscape.
Experience with designing for scalability, performance, and high-availability.

Soft Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
Ability to work across complex corporate landscapes that include multiplevendors, contractors and employees.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalentexperience.
SAP Certified Solution Architect or SAP Technology Professional Certification
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of non-SAP integration platforms and middleware
Experience with Architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Lean IX a plus
Experience in the Energy or Utility Business a plus.
