Key Responsibilities

? Design and optimize data models (both logical and physical) to support analytics and
reporting needs.
? Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as dbt, Matillion,
Informatica, or Azure Data Factory.
? Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or
GCP).
? Establish data governance standards for security, data quality, lineage, and access
control.
? Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate
business requirements into technical solutions.
? Monitor and tune Snowflake performance (compute, storage, and query optimization).
? Define best practices and reusable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation,
and consumption.
? Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and developers.
? Stay current with Snowflake features, tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance
data architecture capabilities.
Required Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s
preferred).
? 8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with at least 3+ years
focused on Snowflake.
? Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
? Expertise in SQL, data modeling (3NF, star/snowflake schemas), and data pipeline
design.
? Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Matillion, Talend, etc.).
? Knowledge of Python or Scala for data transformation and automation.
? Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices in data environments.
