Job Title: Project Manager (IA-DOM-DOIT-PM6)
Location: Iowa, USA (Onsite 2-3 days/week required)
Job Summary:
The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at the State of Iowa is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our PMO team. You'll be responsible for IT project governance, assessment, management, and control, working with multiple business and platform areas across the State.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to project management governance on multiple current and future projects
- Generate project schedules, identify resource needs, and complete procurement of vendor products/implementation services
- Manage delivery efforts, report status, and conduct project meetings
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project deliverables
- Work with upper-level state government committees and multiple stakeholders
- Provide insight and knowledge to improve processes related to portfolio, project, and program management
Required Skills:
- Direct management of system integration projects
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations and priorities
- Strong project management skills, with ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within a project governance structure
- Strong process development and gap analysis skills
