Job Title: iOS Developer

Target Level: Mid to Senior iOS Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join our team and contribute to building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AVFoundation and VideoToolbox, along with a solid foundation in iOS development practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and play a key role in delivering high-quality mobile solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for iOS platforms.

• Work extensively with AVFoundation and VideoToolbox for video-related features.

• Analyze application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code while adhering to best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, providing guidance to junior and offshore developers.

• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure reliability and maintainability.

• Monitor system performance and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Identify and fix bugs, test fixes, and implement solutions promptly.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and ship new features.

• Document technical designs, code implementations, and application workflows.

• Stay updated with emerging iOS frameworks, tools, and development trends.

• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4+ years of hands-on iOS development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C (preferred but not mandatory).

• Proven experience with AVFoundation and VideoToolbox frameworks.

• Solid understanding of iOS SDK, UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Auto Layout.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.

• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise).

• Knowledge of video streaming, media processing, or real-time communication apps.

• Exposure to unit testing and UI testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest).

• Previous experience mentoring junior developers.
