Location: Bethesda, MD (Onsite or Hybrid depending on project requirements)
Clearance Requirement: Must have continuously resided in the U.S. for the past 3 years (Public Trust eligibility required)
Position Overview:
seeking a highly skilled Senior Selenium Automation Tester with at least 8+ years of experience in automation testing, particularly within .NET environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS SQL and possess a strong background in designing and executing automated test suites using Selenium. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications within the federal healthcare domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver within a .NET framework.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to define comprehensive test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Execute automated and manual test plans; log, track, and follow up on defects through resolution.
Perform backend data validation and analysis using MS SQL queries.
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and quality assurance best practices to support Agile development cycles.
Generate detailed test reports, documentation, and traceability matrices.
Continuously improve and maintain the test automation framework.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Selenium-based automation testing.
Solid experience testing applications developed in .NET.
Proficiency with MS SQL for backend data validation and query development.
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or equivalent.
Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have resided in the United States for at least 3 consecutive years to meet Public Trust clearance eligibility.
