Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong React expertise and proven experience delivering applications in Banking or Capital Markets environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise-scale financial systems, strong back-end and front-end development skills, and the ability to design, build, and optimize high-performance solutions for critical business functions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based back-end services and React front-end applications.

Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Implement and consume RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Build user interfaces that are responsive, intuitive, and secure for front-office and middle-office banking applications.

Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to security and regulatory standards in financial services.

Participate in code reviews, enforce development best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Support deployment pipelines and integrate solutions within CI/CD environments.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full technology stack.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

12+ years of Java development experience, with strong proficiency in Java 8+ / Spring / Spring Boot.

Strong experience with React.js, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.

Solid experience building REST APIs and integrating with enterprise data platforms.

Hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).

Knowledge of banking systems, capital markets, or financial product workflows.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, regulated environments.

Nice to Have

Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ) or event-driven architectures.

Knowledge of microservices orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Exposure to risk, trading, or settlement systems in capital markets.

Familiarity with security best practices (OAuth2, SAML, encryption standards).
