Responsibilities

• Diagnose and recover lost, corrupted, or inaccessible data from Windows-based storage devices, including HDDs, SSDs, RAID arrays, and external drives.
• Utilize advanced forensic and data recovery tools to reconstruct damaged file systems and partitions.
• Develop custom scripts and automation solutions to enhance data retrieval efficiency.
• Analyze system failures, hardware malfunctions, and software issues that lead to data loss.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to investigate ransomware attacks and implement preventive measures.
• Document recovery processes, findings, and solutions for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging data recovery technologies, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data recovery, digital forensics, or IT security.
• Proficiency in Windows file systems (NTFS, FAT32, exFAT) and storage architectures.
• Hands-on experience with tools like R-Studio, EnCase, FTK, WinHex, or similar recovery software.
• Strong understanding of disk imaging, partition repair, and low-level data structures.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
